The Association for Water and Sanitation Institutions of South Africa (AWSISA) is pleased to announce the addition of five new institutional members to its network for the 2026 membership cycle. The new members span three provinces and include two district municipalities, a water board, a research institution, and a civil society organisation active in rural WASH programming.
AWSISA Chief Executive Officer welcomed the new members at the April Board Meeting held in Pretoria, noting that the expanded network now represents over 5,200 water and sanitation professionals across South Africa. “Each new member strengthens our collective voice on policy, infrastructure investment, and the critical work of delivering water and sanitation services to all communities,” she said.
New members will receive immediate access to the AWSISA Knowledge Hub, Tender Board bulletin, and the GIS Infrastructure Map. Onboarding sessions are scheduled for May 2026.
